Upgrade to WordPress 6.7.1, and DubBot Broken Links
On Wednesday 5 February, Web Services updated the providence.edu website’s CMS to the latest version of WordPress. You shouldn’t notice any changes to your web content, nor any major changes in the editor or how you work in WordPress. If you do notice anything problematic, please let us know by filing a ticket.
Also, you may have noticed a sharp increase in broken link notifications in your DubBot report this week. Do not worry! The “Work at PC” link in the footer of every page is throwing an unexpected error. The link is fine, but the way the server is responding is creating an unusual error. This issue is temporary, and DubBot is working on a fix. For now, don’t worry about those particular errors. Don’t ignore them in the system, as they should resolve soon.
