Posts – PC Custom Blocks

Overview

The Post block allows you to pull a set of recent WordPress blog posts into a page. You can choose the PC site you wish to pull from, and even narrow the content to particular categories used in that site. Additionally, you can use multiple Posts blocks on a single page to highlight different categories of post- for example, news posts, with sections intended for specific audiences such as alumni or students.

What does it look like?

There are a variety of layout styles that can be used with the posts block-

• and 1, 2, 3, or 4 columns

When should I use it?

The posts block is a great addition to landing pages for sites that regularly blog, post events, news, and other information of a timely nature that utilize posts vs pages. It can help to make your page look more “alive” as new posts will automatically be added to the posts block on that page.
