Changes to Faculty Profiles

As you may know, Academic Affairs is switching the College’s faculty activity reporting (FAR) system from Watermark (formerly Digital Measures) to Interfolio. The FAR system is the centralized data repository for faculty reporting on scholarship, teaching, service, and other areas of professional or academic engagement. The Faculty Activity Reporting system is also the database that generates faculty profiles on College websites.
Next week, Web Services will be doing some work on all academic department websites in support of this switchover from Watermark to Interfolio. The URLs that link to faculty profiles will be changing when Watermark is retired on 31 May 2025, and full faculty web profiles won’t be viewable for up to six weeks.
Beginning on Wednesday, 28 May 2025, Web Services will be updating each academic department’s faculty web content. Since departments handle their faculty listings and profiles differently, the work we do on each site will vary, depending on how the site is currently constructed. However, we will do the best we can to replicate the current faculty information and minimize any downtime in faculty profile availability.
Individual faculty will soon have the ability to log in to Interfolio using their college credentials to ensure that the information in their profiles is accurate, as they did with Watermark. Academic Affairs has shared documentation and training with all faculty about how to do this.
