DubBot Now Flags Safelinks URLs

Starting this week, DubBot will begin flagging all URLs that use Microsoft’s “safelinks” format. These links often appear when you copy and paste a URL directly from an Outlook email, and they typically start with https://namXX.safelinks.protection.outlook.com. While these links are designed to protect users from malicious content, they’re not appropriate for web publishing.

Safelinks URLs are typically counted as broken links in DubBot scans. With this update, DubBot will now also specifically identify safelinks URLs so you can remove or replace them with clean, direct links.

If you need help spotting or fixing these in your content, create a Task in DubBot, and assign it to Web Services — we’re happy to help!
