Web Editors – Domain Listing Scam Making the Rounds
Web Editors, there is a mail scam currently making the rounds at Providence College. This is a scam solicitation- if your site is a subdomain of providence.edu (example- recreation.providence.edu) you will never be asked to pay for registration or listing services for your website.
If you receive the following letter depicted in the image below via mail (or via email), please let Dan Demmons, Director of Web Services, know asap and please forward the letter on to him via interoffice mail at Dan Demmons, Martin Hall Room 302.
