Grid of Links – PC Custom Blocks

Overview

The Grid of Links block creates a 3×3 panel with several thumbnail images (or color boxes), each of which is a link with text on it. If you use fewer than 9 links, the grid will creatively arrange the boxes. Consider using Envira Gallery instead of the Grid of Links block.

When should I use it?

Grid of links is being retired permanently- it’s time/usefulness has come and gone. Move your content to either picturelinks or featured image rollovers set up in columns, if you want something similarly formatted.

Is there anything else I should know about this block?

• Make sure to choose your images and link text combinations wisely- certain combinations, such as white colored link text over a pale or colorless image can make the link text virtually invisible and inaccessible to people using screen readers.
