It’s important to ensure that your website is up to date, accessible, and free of broken links or other quality assurance problems. Web Services subscribes to a service called DubBot, which is a web-based tool that will help you improve and maintain the quality of your website.
All Providence College web editors are required to take this training, and use DubBot.
To get access to DubBot reports, web editors should first watch the video training below carefully, and then submit the quiz. If you answer all the questions correctly, we will create your DubBot account, and notify you when it is ready. If you need a refresher on a few questions, we’ll get back to you with additional information. If you ever need help with DubBot, you can get support either from DubBot directly (as you will see in the video), or by filing a ticket with Web Services.
Once your DubBot access has been activated, you will regularly receive reports via email regarding your site’s quality, and you will be able to log into the DubBot system to track, assign, or address any issues that come up with your website. In addition, Web Services may assign tasks to you within DubBot.
Watch the video below (we recommend watching it twice), and then take the quiz using the button below the video. The video may take a few moments to load. If it is taking too long, you can visit the Microsoft Stream page for this video directly, and then come back to access the quiz.
